Rooney dived ? Yes ... I agree .. but it was a great dive ... and a clever one ... he knew Campbell wld stick out his leg ... and took the dive ... i've seen worse dives given penalties ... hello ? Pires against Portsmouth ? Or how bout Barry last season ? He caught his studs in the ground and fell .. the ref gave him the penalty ... so give rooney a break ...

Reyes being tackled hard ? .. well ..yea ... guilty ... BUT ... weren't the arsenal players also tackling hard ? ... like for example ... Cole going in from the back on Ruud ? .. or how bout Cole on ronaldo ? ... hmmm ....

What a game it was .. a little rough .. but still a great match ... I, being a Man U fan naturally backded Man U for the win .. but did not expect it to be a 2-0 ...

Truth be told ... Man U shackled Arsenal just the way Panathiakos did in the Champ League... Sure .. Arsenal can cry foul and match fixing .. but why don't they just admit they lost ? Here are my views on some of the incidents ..

The Rio - Ljunberg Foul - Ok ... this was a clear foul i admit .. but NOT a red card offense .. i know the last man must be sent off if he commits the foul .. BUT it is only during a certain goal scoring chance ... What Arsenal failed to see is that Carroll was coming out and Ljunberg pushed the ball too afar ahead to reach before Carroll does ... Yes, it should be a foul ... but not a dismissal as the Gunners claim .. too bad the referee gave neither ...

The Nistelrooy - Cole Tackle - I do not know why everybody is crying foul over this ... from my first look of it .. i laughed coz i thought cole tackled RVN but instead fell down .. but later i heard everyone saying that RVN stamped on Cole's knee ... well needless to say ... Cole went down as if he were shot by a gun. This was a foul ... if the referee thinks so .. but he didn't .. and i certainly thought it was not .. RVN just raised his leg .. and Cole ran into him ... sheesh ...

The Excessive Tackling - i feel that the gunners were complaining too much that the Man U players were fouling all over the pitch ... i mean .. yes .. gary and Phil did tackle Reyes a little hard ... but it was raining ... and its hard to stop after sprinting .. what's more ... the Arsenal Players crowded the Ref after every tackle by a Man U player ..silly isn't it ? .. Furthermore .. They tackled equally hard on Ronaldo ..

The Penalty that Won It - It WAS a penalty ... clearly ... though minimum contact was made ... but would you expect any world class striker to not fall and force the foul ? .. Campbell may be strong in the air .. but he's an elephant on the ground ... Ronney skipped passed him and he stuck out his leg ... Naturally ... Rooney wil take the fall if he felt contact ... so why are Arsenal complaining ? ... Pires did it ... they didn't complained then ...

Overview - I believe Man U played well, shackling the Gunners and disrupting their play ... Rio cut out Henry and Silvest did the same to Bergkamp ... Pires and Cole attacked too much and left a gap on the right hand of Man U's attack ... Phil Neville just ran around disrupting play ... and Arsenal's creatvity jut fizzled ... Henry was playing on the left flank for 90% of the game for goodness sake !! ... MAN U WINNING WAS JUST ... ARSENAL JUST WHINE TOO MUCH ...

* Tmr is officially our last day as whitleyans .. people , we are graduating !! Hope you all will hold fond memories of this school of ours , no matter good or bad .. can you imagine yourself forgetting our home away from home ?

Sadly , tmr will also mean that we're entering the last stretch before the Os , its make or break time , no longer children anymore , time to be mature and strive for our futures ...

But , I am perplexed by something about our education system again ... as you know , our Os are set by the British , i mean with all the hoo ha abot u S'pore having one of the best education systems in the world , the country's young are still graded by a foreign body. Who are they to grade us ? who are they to determine our abilities and entrance to JCs , Polys or Insts ? Can't we be graded right here ? Are our teacher's just as competant as theirs ? Can't a singporean student be graded by singaporean ? after all , the O level exam is one of the most impt stepping stones in our future . Most of us are going to remain here after this , so why must our admissions br judged by our own people ?

How can we say that singapore is fully independant ? Are we not since 1965 ? Then how can our children's fate be marked by a foreign country ? Are we not still under colonial rule ?

damn .. english results are out , and out also goes my aim of an A1 ... what do i mean ? ... the english honour roll ( top ten ) came out today ... and i was not on it .. ( first sadness ) ... then the mark range fo rthe top ten were like 81% to 74% ... so needless to say .. i now only have a chance to get an A2 ( but its a low chance ) ... *sigh*

but worst things got worst ... pple started suaning me ... juz becoz i'm no loner best in class for english ... dats why i told sumbody first .. coz i'd rather he noe and suan me den hhe find out and suan me ... and no .. its not u terence ..

Goodness !! Emaths was simple man ... Expected worse ... paper 1 was a breeze and my went thru my paper 2 and i think i did quite well !! ..

However ... S.S was a little worrying ... everything i studied did not come out ... thank god for tiara's notes ... she was a life saver ... haha .. oh well .. i NEED dat A for humanities ...

Physics was easy too !! .. cept for maybe one or two questions ... oh well ... Chem , well .. it was ok .. easy compared to the midyear ... Practical was so easy too !! .. I bet many of us will get high for it ... I AM goin to score for my science !! ...

Today had a cook out at wanda's house .. she was having her bdae party ... and mike made me go .. it was quite fun actually ... her folks laid out stuff for us to "cook" ... so all of us started "cookin" .. haha .. the end result wielded sum mighty weird dishes ... haha ... chee and ah hao made a severly spicy dish of peas ... they must've added a ton of chilli padis in it ! .. wanda and sum of the gals made pita bread stuffed with guess wad ? .. durian ! .. lots of it .. and it was yummy .. me ? .. i teamed up with leon and made sum vanilla aand choc rolls ... haha .. made a mess but boy were they good ... haha ... had so much fun .. enuff to make me forget my prelims ...

Today was a fast day .. man .. juz go to schl .. slack a little .. den go home .. i dn like staying after schl on fridays ... coz there'sbasically nothing to do ...

However .. one reason for me to go home today is my all impt bbal match against the holy innocent high players ... i formed a team with sum of the frequent players at the courts and we challenged the HIH team .. and boy was it a match ...

The atmosphere was fantastic ... bout 20 pple came to watch the match .. mostly screaming HIH gals but who cares ? .. they lost .. LOL ...

It started ok .. i was benched .. and we were tied 47-47 at the first half .. haha .. den me , yi zhen , dan and wei ren came on .. haha .. and dats wwhen the humiliation started ... we all together out scored them by 30+ points ... the defence greatly inproved with dan and yi zhen playing .. i played centre ( surprised ? ) and scored bout 25 points , including a three pinter ! .. haha .. final score -- HIH 78 - Us 114 ..

the crowd went loco .. haha .. its times like this i love the game ...

Olympics ~

ronald susilo , carried all of the country's hopes and dreams on his shoulder , crashed out to the 12th seed thai last nite . it is indeed sad for both country and player ... as i'm sure he worked hard to win world numba one , lin dan ... but i do see him in the nxt SEA games , winning a gold for us ... majulah singapura ! ~

S'pore Idol's debut was not bad actually , but they showcased too many bad singers instead of good .. i really cracked up at the judges wise ass remarks and also to the contestants . Scholl starts in 2 days time .. can't wait ... staying at home can get kinda boring ... 4 weeks of rest and little studyin is enough for me ... i'm ready for a new term ...

today was one of those days that resembled a flashback ..

went out with lil dear and co. , went to heeren and followed them hiking - orchard hikathon ... damn funny lorz ... onli me and mike as the only guys .. rest was made up of 10+ girls .. haha ... everybody was staring man ... we walked most of orchard ... me tokin to lil dear most of the time ... she ain't happy i can tell .. sumthings wrong ... maybe got problem between her and pat ... i wonder wad if it nvr happened ? .. wld we have continued ?? ... sometimes i wish it was so ...

Man ... I erally enjoyed myself going out yesterday .. first a movie .. arnd the world in 80 days ... i was nearly late for that ... haha .. got there juz in time ... den we went to the HDB exhibition ... so fun .. She was so hyper ... den ater that ... made our way to woodlands library ... met T2 on the way ... stand in the train ..my legs were so tred sheesh ... den reach .. and walked to the library ... walk thru all 4 levels ... and borrowed a few books ... den we go walk causeway point ... ate lunch/dinner there ... haha ... den walk arnd lorz .. even walk to supermarket ... visited all the gifts shop there lookin at teddy bears ... den had ice cream ... after dat .. got kinda late ... sent herhome ..and made my way back ... met Mel on the bus ... haha ... tok and tok crap ... forgot dat she moved to sengkang ... haha ... tok til she nearly missed her stop .. got hme .. was dead tired ... and fell nto bed asleep ... woke up and found out dat Italy was out of the EURO '04 ... sheesh .. there goes my supported country ... haiz .. they deserved it though ... nvr played well ... so now i cheer Czech Rep! ... but Italy will win The World Cup '06 ... they will ...

Yesterday was father's day ... and boy did we have fun celebrating it ... My dad only wanted one thing on dat day .. and dat thing was a pool cue ... Yes, my father plays pool and is good at it ... Wad's more , he's playing a tourney this wednesday .. gud Luck Dad !! ... well .. we bought him a custom made cue at $279 ... man .. u shld have seen his face .. like a child getting a new toy ... haha ... after buying him dat .. we went to celebrate over dinner at this north indian restaurant ... was the food ever good !!! ... It makes me want to be born a north indian ... yum !

Well ... My dad ain't like the rest .. He Likes stuff adults dun normally like ... he plays computer games and can even beat me at fightin ones like Mortal Kombat ... He plays BBall .. and Pool .. OMG !! .. Italy are at the brink of elimination ... even though they had a better performance against the swedes than the danes .. Zlatan's late sublime strike crushed their dreams. In a match dat was supposed to be Italy's most difficult , The italians no doubt came out wanting to win ... Cassano , who replaced totti , led the barrage but eventually ... they cldn't add on to their lone goal and had to pay for it. Italy need a win against already eliminated Bulgaria n the last match to have a chance of squeezing thru the group stage.

Denmark , a side that seemed destined for a first round exit , but proved the pundis wrong by lacing themselves at second place of their group. All they need now is awin against sweden , who are favourites in the next match.

Finally !! ... An England Win !! ... However, the 3-0 scoreline was not worthy of the england team dat played against the swiss dat day ... Other than Rooney , the rest of the team seemed so lost .. Kudos to Gerrard for giving his all ... but when flanked by Lampard ( Not at usual self ) , Scholes ( Looked dejected ) and Beckham ( Not Captain Material ) ... it was a shock dat england could have won in the first place .. maybe because the swiss were plain lousy ... One issue is the inclusion of off-form owen ... other than the fact dat his cross led to Eng's first goal , he was clearly a shadow of his former self. No longer does he make his signature smart runs and his shots lack their usual venom. Maybe if defoe was not left out ... things cld have been veri diff for england.

After Greece's draw with spain and portugal's win over russia , Group A is blown wide open with any of the top 3 teams having the chance to qualify ... however , russia bows out of the tournament after much controversy during their qualification ... makes one wonder how wales would have fared if they had qualified .. much better i suppose ....

The next crunch match decides one of the potential qualifiers - Portgal vs. Spain .. Winner of this match WILL qualify .. joining greece , who are almost sure to qualify as they play eliminated russia. Finally i managed to change from xanga to blogspot ... much much better ... there was a glitch in my old blog ... so i decided to change ... well ... wat u see is wat u get ...

I spent the past week moving hse ... now i live in punggol ..a far cry frm my old place ... furthermore ... this new hme is so much nicer than the old one .. haha ...
Packing was hell ... took me 2 days to get everything into boxes ... shit ... and unpacking was even more difficult ... there were 60 boxes to unpack in total ... lucky ..now evrything is settled ..its a relief ...

In between ... i found time to go out with frenz ... went to see harry potter last week with *ahem* .. and enjoyed the movie .. damn ... emma watson is so hot !! ... and that ron guy looked like a faggot ... haha .. plus ..nique .. if u read this .. thomas felton is not exactly dat handsome either ..LOL ... haha ...

After moving ... played in the prefects vs sec 4 soccer match ... played inthe first half as a keeper ... made a mistake which luckily was not fatal ... fell on my hand and i think i hurt my thumb pretty bad ... haha ... we won the match 8-2 and my bro also played .. but the scoreline flattered us ... if their full team was present ... they wld have won convincingly ...

Oh well .. too bushed to write the rest of my past week here .. so this is me ... signing out my first real entry ...
